Go to the Westonia Shire Council to obtain entry (fees apply) to the Hood-Penn Museum in the former Club Hotel building.

Apart from a vibrating mine tunnel with sound effects, the museum features scenes and artefacts to showcase life in the earliest days of the Shire of Westonia such as in an old-fashioned kitchen.

Early maps of the area are also on display.
