Life Giving Rocks

Granite outcrops rise above the horizon in the Wheatbelt and Goldfields adding interest and diversity to the landscape for the traveller.

They also provide unique ecosystems for fauna and flora, acting as they do as isolated islands with a ‘sea’ of sand between them. Within their water-filled rockholes unique creatures can be found that have developed in isolation.

Along the length of the pipeline are many granite hills to explore and enjoy and visitor centres in the towns will have information about others in the near vicinity.
