Kellerberrin Rock Catchment and Dam

  • Other Details

At the back of the golf course, towards the base of Kellerberrin Hill, is a large granite outcrop water catchment area, with stone walling directing the rainwater run-off into a storage dam which was built for the railway.

With the expansion of the railways some rocks were harvested for water to fill the tanks of steam trains.
