Evacuation Procedure at No 1 Pump Station, Mundaring Weir

The Golden Pipeline at No 1 Pump Station, Mundaring Weir has a risk management and evacuation policy in accordance with Water Corporation procedures.

National Trust education officers taking school groups at the precinct have been trained in the emergency response and evacuation procedure and will brief staff on arrival.

The evacuation assembly area is the gravel car park next to the Learning Centre.

In the event of an emergency, Water Corporation have alarms that go off both inside and outside No 1 Pump Station and groups will be directed by National Trust and/or Water Corporation staff.

Insurance Policy

The National Trust is a government agency and as such has public liability insurance to the value of $200,000,000.00 through Risk Cover.
